Asian Pear Soother
Chef Simpson Wong , Jefferson Grill

Ingredients

1 ounce vodka
1 ounce pear brandy
1 ounce pear nectar
½ ounce Cointreau
dash of lime juice

Method

Stir all ingredients together with ice and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of Asian pear with the point side in the drink.

Serves 1

Chef’s Quote

The Asian pear should be pie sliced from stem to base into 10 to12 pieces. Then sliced part way on the diagonal from top of bulb towards base so that the top of the pear will plunge into the drink.
