Korean Iron Chef Named at The Culinary Institute of America

Chris Wilcox, who was recently chosen as the winner of a student chef competition at the Culinary Institute of America, earned the title of “Korean Iron Chef” and was awarded a $500 scholarship donated by The Korea Agro-Trade Center, New York. Wilcox is currently an AOS culinary arts student and will graduate in March 2008. After he graduates, Wilcox will begin a job in Vail, CO where he will be working for the same chef he worked for during his externship. His winning dish at the competition was "Roasted Barramundi on Giant Trumpet Mushroom Salad with Pickled Radishes and Asian Pear Puree".
